River District Scavenger Hunt – 2016 (Part #2)

If you participated in the River District Scavenger Hunt on Thursday night, then you had a great time (just like we did). We’ve already published Part #1 in our PhotoCentral series of the happenings, so let’s get right back in swing with Part #2!

Let’s take a quick walk around the JTI Fountain area and see what’s happening before we take off and start playing the game!

Five minutes before the game starts, people are already mapping out their strategy.

Robert Brooks is finishing up last-minute changes to the game sheets.

American National Bank & Trust was one of the major sponsors. They provided free ice cream. Kim Custer, Carroll Walker and Martha Walker check out the ice cream supply before the event starts.

Lorrie Eanes-Brooks is here helping out. She’s representing the Out Of The Darkness Suicide Prevention team.

WSET’s R.J. Burnette was getting video for the newscast.

DJ Ben Wright makes the final tweaks on his sound system.

The closest parking lot has already filled up by 5:25 PM.

Here’s our last look at the JTI Fountain because it’s time for us to go play the game! We’re on the path and our first stop is…

… Lou’s Antique Mall! Let’s go searching for the sign.

Our adventures on the streets of the River District has started and we’ll continue it in Part #3. That’s coming up next… only here at SouthsideCentral!
