Tuesday was a very quiet and non-eventful City Council meeting… until Adam Tomer’s turn to speak in the around-the-horn comment section at the end. He talked about LifePoint, Inc. (the owners of Danville Regional Medical Center) and the way that they have failed to live up to their word for open-door communication. Only one larceny to report from Halifax County on this story… Well, the streak of having the media internet account working perfectly ended at four. Boo! So what happened at the meeting? This case spreads over Caswell County, Person County, Mecklenburg County and it ends with a surprising Halifax County twist! Halifax is turning a safety event into a fun safety event! Danville City Council’s got a regular meeting and a work session coming up on Tuesday (7:00 PM) and SouthsideCentral will be there with a LIVE! session. Let’s take a look at what’s on tap… Well, at least in Downtown Reidsville. Lucky City is now able to serve beer by the glass, and they’ve got a good selection.
