Danville City Council’s got a regular meeting and a work session coming up on Tuesday (7:00 PM) and SouthsideCentral will be there with a LIVE! session. Let’s take a look at what’s on tap…
In the regular session, they’ll be locking in a $283K+ grant for the Westmoreland project. New business will be confirmation of a grant application for mass transit funding, getting a $50K+ grant for the Victim Witness Assistance Program and approving the report of delinquent taxes.
In the work session, Council will discuss the naming of the new parking lot that’s between the Dan River and Bridge Street. They’ll also discuss appointments to the Danville-Pittsylvania Regional Industrial Facility Authority, the Danville Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board of Commissioners and the Industrial Development Authority.
