This is the last weekend for you to go see the North Star Theatre Project and their production of “The Little Mermaid Jr.” at Danville’s Historic North Theatre! There’s two shows left in the run, and that’s Saturday night at 7:30PM & a Sunday matinee at 2:30 PM. Tickets are only $15 (children & students $10) and active duty service members are free with military ID. You can get your tickets in advance by clicking on this link that will take you to the North Theatre’s webpage.

In this article in our PhotoCentral series, you’ll see some of the beautiful costumes in the play. I hope to see you there Saturday night!

Here’s the links to the first three articles in this series: Part #1Part #2Part #3

Let’s get back to action and look at some of the costumes from a rehearsal!

The mermaid princesses are getting their costumes checked out, and here comes some seagulls!

Director Mimi Grubb is making sure everything is looking right on stage.

The stage is getting crowded with mermaids, seagulls, sailors and a starfish.

The details of these costumes are amazing.

Whoops! Let’s do a little seagull legging fix.

More seagulls have joined the um… flock?

And here’s our starfish!

We’ll wrap up Part #4 with the jellyfish taking the stage.

I really hope that you’ll go to Saturday’s 7:30 PM or Sunday’s 2:30 PM show. You are guaranteed to have a great time! We’ll have more in this series here on SouthsideCentral.
