And away we go with Part #7!

There’s a line for the caricature artist and the sidewalks are busy on North Union Street.

Even when Von Wellington has stopped to take a photo, his feet continue to move. Heh.

The Second Chance Thrift Store on the corner is ready for you to come inside and shop.

We’ll make the obvious “Fred Motley tells Justin Ferrell a story” joke here.

Here’s some more art for sale on the sidewalk.

Son Wolen knows how to give directions to every event at the River District Festival.

It is impossible to go to an event in Danville and not see Lee Eagle. So here’s Lee Eagle.

Tracy Thornton answers questions about how steel drumming works.

Qonell Totten is helping out the festival, making sure everything is running perfectly.

Now that the River District Festival is done for this year, I have to change what I had been saying. So it’s now “I loved the River District Festival!”

We’ll finish up Union Street and head back to Main Street in Part #8. That’s coming up soon here at SouthsideCentral!
