- I was talking about the Eden Mall in the last edition of RandomThoughts!, but have you been to Reidsville’s Pennrose Mall? Somehow, it’s survived 10 years of deadness and it keeps on going.
- And unbelievably, Roses in the Pennrose Mall has outlasted the K-Mart that’s a half mile away.
- OK people, what am I missing by not yet having gone to Erma’s?
- I just got a report of the GW band’s bus breaking down on the road to Salem for today’s state semi-final football game. Really? I mean really?
- The Mecklenburg County high school football player that died during a football game has gotten zero media attention locally.
- Speaking of that, does the Register & Bee have any sportswriters now? Their website lists Nick Gueguen & Adam Hainsfurther, but they’ve been gone for a long while.
- Come to think of it… they haven’t even listed Trevor Metcalfe, the newest reporter that started back in August. Hey, Robert!
- We rode by the Miyako restaurant on Tuesday night, and there was one vehicle parked up beside the restaurant. Does anybody ever eat there? Have I asked that before?
