I’ve got thoughts. They’re Random.
It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Big Board!
- I caught myself saying “the old Plaza Cinema location” instead of “Dan River Church”. Oops.
- Happy Trails, Liberty Fair Mall. The now half demolished Martinsville shopping center’s name is being renamed “The Village of Martinsville”.
- Speaking of that mall… Belk has now closed off their mall entrance for good there, just like they did at the Eden Mall.
- Speaking of the Eden Mall… they had the last Waldenbooks store for at least 100 miles.
- Speaking of bookstores… anybody remember First Edition book store in the Ballou Park area. It was in the old 7-11 location.
- Speaking of 7-11… I want a REAL Slurpee and a Big Wheel ice cream sandwich.
- Where in the heck did all of those strung-together RandomThoughts come from?
- Carolina Cafe for breakfast, Cafe 99 for lunch, Pete’s Burgers for supper. Now that would be my Reidsville routine.
- Danville United meeting tonight at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church. The meeting start at 7 PM and we’ll cover it LIVE!
