I’m sure that all of us have actually wanted to say what’s in this police report. I’m probably going to get BBQ’d for this article, but hey… it’s my opinion! It’s almost General Assembly time, so that means we’ve already got bills prefiled. This one’s a doozy! The investigation is complete from the car/Amtrak wreck in Efland NC (between Hillsborough & Burlington) I’m betting that police have ruled one person out as a suspect. 😀 It’s Hyperbole! Like This! We’ve got family on vacation in the Myrtle Beach area, so we’ve been watching their local news. Earlier this week, we had a DotD from that area. We’ve found another one. We’re rolling out another occasional feature here at SouthsideCentral… QuickHits! When we’ve got a bunch of stuff to write about but not much to write on the topics, you’ll get Quick Hits on the topics. They may even be funny, with “may” being the operative word. That being said, let’s get some QuickHits! for January 1st! 2010 is going to be a great year for SouthsideCentral! We’ve got big plans for 2010 and we always remember that it’s nothing without you, our readers! Guess we’ve got to say “Happy Trails!” to the original “Happy Trails!” I hate to use a SouthsideCentral article on this but it’s the only way to get my response out. Anyway, Darrin’s got his side of the story out and here’s my response. We’ve had a lot of people wanting to know what’s going on in the case of the former South Boston policeman. Once again, it’s been continued. Guess the “Michael Vick” theme didn’t work out in Wyndhurst? This is one of the best examples in how money that’s raised in the community can go back to the community for great causes. I figured out that Darrin Talbott was never going to un-ban me from HalifaxTalk when I got off the phone with him a few minutes ago. Let’s head to Myrtle Beach and find our Daily Dumbass! The South Boston Junior Women’s Club is putting on a “Totally 80’s” New Year’s Eve Party at The Prizery in South Boston! Let’s kick off another (shamelessly borrowed from PTI) new feature at SouthsideCentral. “Food Chain” is where we rank things on a Big Board. The best rise to the top of the Food Chain while the rest are ranked lower. It doesn’t have to be about food, but this first one will definitely be about food… BBQ, that is. It’s time to say Happy Trails! to the Dan River Church meeting in the GWHS auditorium. This is one big list of criminal charges. Where are the “Thumbs!” going in this edition? Let’s see if they’re flying up or down… We’re nearing the 6-month mark of SouthsideCentral and it’s time to say thanks to all of our readers for making SC a giant success!
