Wheelchair Rugby. Now that sounds interesting!
Make your way to Danville’s Squire Armory on Saturday for the “Wreck for Rec” Wheelchair Rugby Exhibition and Fundraiser. Admission is $3.00 and teams from Virginia Beach, Charlotte and Raleigh will be participating. Proceeds go to the Stonewall Therapeutic Recreation Center. This event starts at 5:00 PM and is sponsored by Pepsi, God’s Pit Crew and Checkered Pig BBQ. For more information, call 434-799-5150.
