LIVE! coverage of a motorcycle crash in Danville!
SouthsideCentral is LIVE! on the scene of a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Old Halifax Rd. and South Boston Rd. Eyewitness reports say that the motorcycle rider ran into the back of a pickup truck and was thrown off his bike. The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital by the Danville Life Saving Crew.

UPDATE #4: From the Danville Police Department: On July 4th at about 8:45PM, a 2006 Ford Pick up driven by Steven Blackard age 36 of Semora turned into the path of a 2003 Honda motorcycle which was driven by Dennis Warren age 49 of Danville. The motorcycle was headed east on South Boston Road. The truck was turning left, and turned into the motorcycle, ejecting Mr. Warren from the motorcycle. He was transported to the hospital. Blackard was charged with failing to obey a traffic signal. (Thanks go to the Danville Police Department for providing this information!)
