LeonardWatch: So Close, And Yet So Wrong

It takes skill to be so close to a situation and still get everything totally wrong. Well, maybe not skill. How about incompetence and the fact that you’re pretty much hated by most people?

Yeah, we’ll go with that instead.

I just happened to be in downtown Danville on Friday around noon, and I heard an ambulance come through Union Street heading to the courts & jail building. Within 5 minutes of that, our favorite reporter dumbass who sits besides a scanner (Leonard Harville) had posted this on Facebook…

Since this is a LeonardWatch article, you can probably already guess that this information is wrong. Of course, since I’ve mentioned the name “Leonard Harville”, you can probably guess that the information is wrong by default. But this wouldn’t be a validated LeonardWatch article unless we get an official ruling from our panel of judges. Judges?

Wow, didn’t see that one coming. Anyway, our intrepid reporter decides that he needs to be on the scene. Not to get the correct information to give to the dumbasses that follow him and slurp up the crap he throws out people who still believe him people that still believe him, just to be there. Well, Leonard’s there faster than Virgil Goode at a Confederate flag rally, folks. He takes photos of the ambulance crew, the patient, and probably the pavement.

(Side note: The last photo that Leonard’s camera is going to take is probably going to be the inside of his butt.)

He then rushes home to his basement and posts this update…

Let’s ask the judges if Leonardo’s photo caption is correct? (Hey, if you like red neon, you’ll love this…)

Here’s what really happened, folks. A woman was arrested and brought to the jail for processing. The intake staff saw that she had a pre-existing 3-day old knife wound. For her safety, they called an ambulance and had her taken to the hospital. The woman refused treatment at the hospital. She was later released on a summons to appear in court, so she never even was an inmate at the jail.

There was no stabbing in the jail. Not anywhere close to a stabbing in the jail. GAH! If you’re wondering how I know all of the facts in the case, I simply asked questions and talked to the right people at the Danville Sheriff’s Office. You know, like a reporter is supposed to do…. instead of make crap up and so-call “report” his conjecture as what actually happened.

Hey, Leonard? If you’re close enough to the jail building to be able to take photos like that, why don’t you stop by and ask a spokesperson exactly what happened? It’s only 50 feet away, you know.

Oh well. There’s a nice brick wall over by my neighbors. I might as well talk to that and still get the same results.

But we’ll leave you with one of Leonard’s own photos to show how much he’s loved by people. Oh yeah, he might threaten to sue me for using one of his own photos to mock him but I don’t give a damn. It’s not like he’s threatened that before and done absolutely nothing, you know? Good ol’ Leonard taking photos of the patient as she’s rolled out to the ambulance. It’s very clear that she loves Leonard too. Take a look…

Yeah, lady. We all feel the same way about Leonard Harville.
