“Elf – The Musical Jr.” – Part #1

The amazing Mimi Grubb & the North Star Theatre Project are doing it again with “Elf Jr. – The Musical” on December 4th, 5th & 6th and December 11th, 12th & 13th. The kids and the production staff have put in a lot of hours and they’re ready for showtime. Folks, this is one play that you have to see over the next two weekends. The show will be at Danville’s Historic North Theatre and you can get your tickets now at their website.

In this series of PhotoCentral articles, we’ll take a look at the rehearsals of the play. Let’s get started!

We’re here as rehearsal starts…

It’s Elf Jr. time! The props department has the presents ready.

We start with vocal warm-ups.

A little impromptu dance breaks out.

We’re setting up for the first scene to be rehearsed.

The cast knows their parts by now and give each other tips.

Mimi Grubb stands back while the directing crew gets things perfect.
