River District Design Commission (10/8/15)

The only reason that I’m writing a recap article about this meeting is because the “Town Hall Terrors” bureaucracy case was on the agenda. Actually, it was the agenda. This article won’t take much time, folks. Trust me.

Oh please, I’m praying for everybody to be here. Start the clock.

“Your prayer is rejected. YOU FOOL!”

We’ve got four of the seven. That’s all we need for a quorum, so at least we can get started.

The guys from Dewberry explain the need for the extra louvers to be put on the windows. This is as exciting as it gets today, folks.

The commission approves the request 4-0, thus ending the “Town Hall Terrors”. Last month’s minutes are approved.

We’re done. Stop the clock at 6 minutes. So that’s the entire recap of the October River District Design Commission meeting.

There are some very nice people who serve on this commission, but the existing zoning department could do the same job without all the delays. This commission needs to be abolished.

We’ve got more coming up on SouthsideCentral!
