PhotoCentral: Museum Meets Margaritaville – Part #1

In the middle of our regular coverage of things happening in the Southside region, we’re trying to squeeze in some PhotoCentral articles to catch up with events that have been held. Hey, let’s add another PhotoCentral series of articles into the mix!

This past Saturday night, the Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History held their annual “Museum Meets Margaritaville” fundraiser and SouthsideCentral was there. We’ve already published an article with our LIVE! photos from the event, but we’ve got a bunch of other photos from the event as well. We’ll mix these PhotoCentral articles in with our regular coverage. Enjoy!

The event started at 5 PM at Danville’s Community Market. Let’s go!

Yep. I’m in the right place.

If it hadn’t been for the camera, those Mystery Hands might have removed a decoration.

Get your wristbands! Get your drink tickets! Why is somebody that Totally Looks Like Michael Cera in fear of my camera?

At 5:20 PM, there’s a line to get in the building.

Take your ticket! Carrie Petrick, HELLO!

Let’s walk down through the silent auction items up for bid. That’s a David Hoffman photo put on canvas.

There’s a lot of arts-related items in the silent auction.

That’s a Karl Stauber bowl!

Be the high bidder here, and you’ve got yourself a portrait of your pets!

One PhotoCentral down, and I’m just getting near the end of the silent auction tables. We’ll have a lot more PhotoCentral articles coming up throughout the week ahead. It’s coverage that you won’t get anywhere else, and it’s only on SouthsideCentral!
