“Tunes at the Saloon” (6/4/15) – Ted Dalton & Evan Parrish

Ted Dalton & Evan Parrish from “Homie’s Heroes” were the musical guest at Texas Steakhouse‘s “Tunes at the Saloon” on Thursday night.

Speaking of Texas Steakhouse, I had a Bacon Bleu Burger. Totally amazing and one of my favorites. It’s a great meal and the prices are great too. Click here for a free appetizer with your next meal purchase (how about tonight?). They’re a great sponsor of SouthsideCentral and we’re glad to feature them here.

Let’s take a look at some photos and videos of the guys’ performance. Hint: They were great.

Let’s start with some photos…

They’re getting into the performance.

Time for a quick break. Karina Morillo, HELLO!

It’s 9 PM and the guys are going into overtime with more music.

Here’s a closeup of Ted Dalton’s fingerwork.

And a closeup of Evan Parrish’s fingerwork.

Now let’s get to some video clips of the performance.

We had a great time Thursday night and had a great dinner. I hope to see you at Danville’s Texas Steakhouse next Thursday night from 6PM to 9PM for another edition of “Tunes at the Saloon”.

Yes Dalton is a great musician. But he can’t sing.

Hope they don’t give up their Day Jobs.

Haters gon hate! We have more supporters than these 2 idiots that love what we play. There’s always folks gonna be a smart ass out there. Can’t please em all but we definitely try have a variety. Most of those snips were folks requests.

We went to hear them and we were not disappointed! These guys have a great sound and a great range of music their playlist! I highly recommend checking them out!

Not only are these guys highly talented musicians, but they are also two of the kindest men you will ever meet. I’d like to punch these turds in the face.

Sorry I missed it. Hopefully I won’t be working the next time they play. It’ll be great seeing two of Danville’s finest musicians in action.

  • I have known Ted Dalton for five years, during which time I have experienced nothing but excellent music from this dedicated and talented artist. I’m not sure what you were hearing Tim and John; granted, I was not present at this performance. However, having been a professional musician myself for the first 23 years of by vocational life, including the ownership of a large rehearsal studio in NJ, I have heard many bad artists and bands. I cannot imagine Ted having been one of them on any given night.

Thanks Paul! We gotta get together and jam real soon! I think I may have pissed off a few folks here and there in this sand bucket of a town so that’s probably who’s throwing out some negativity. Anyways, no worries and thanks for the great comment!

Ted Dalton has a huge following! Evan is awesome also. Maybe you people just don’t know good music. Ted is an fantastic song writer, writing lyrics that will melt your heart. He is one of the best guitar pickers there is. His singing voice is rock n roll perfection. Never been to one of his shows that was not great no matter who he plays with. Everyone is entitled to their opinion even when they are wrong!

ive known ted for the better part of 25 yrs and evan for almost 10 yrs… and these two guys always put on a great show, ted is one of the best guitarist danville has, evan is the best all around bass player in town.. you dnt get better than these 2!!!!!!!!!!!! to the pple thats been talking junk, dont hate because you suck at everything you do(and life!!). to ted and evan, keep up the good work at putting asses in the seats and jammin your hearts out!!!

  • glenn

Ted and Evan are 2 of the best musicians I know. Both are also just fantastic people as well. Apparently the two people who made the snide remarks are butt hurt over getting their asses kicked! Get over it. You both are outclassed.

John, Tim, on behalf of people with actual good taste in music: blow yourselves. I would explain that i’ve been listening to and respecting Ted for almost thirty years, or that i had the honor of playing with Evan in two different bands for almost ten years, but you don’t deserve an explanation… so, y’know, just…
    blow yourselves.

Ted & Evan are two of the most talented musicians I’ve had pleasure to jam with. I will speak for MUDFLAP here in saying they have our full support. If you don’t like it, you can go take a long walk off a short peir (best I could do without foul language). Rock on Homies! F#ck the haters!

  • april

The detractors are obviously not musicians haha!! These guys are talented and I love Ted’s voice. Those who know music, know you guys are quality.

  • Tim

Hi Ted, it’s me again. Im sorry for the negative comments from me and John. We got into a little lovers spat with each other and wrongfully took it out on you. He wanted to wear my special pink silk undies to your show tonight and I wouldn’t let him. I discovered later he had snuck and wore them anyway. Will you please dedicate a special song to us next time you play? Something romantical would be nice.

  • Kenny Hazelwood

Hey being a musician myself, my hat is out to Ted and Evan. You guys are good man. I dig your sound. It’s so easy for someone to sit behind a keyboard and talk trash. Those of us that can play….play….those who cant…pay at the door….any questions??!!!???

  • Wilson

Ted Dalton is a great multi-talented musician who will make it real big someday!
