LeonardWatch: Don’t be Missunderstood

If you’re going to “report” “breaking news” with the “help” of your “friends”, get it “right”.

Sigh. Here we go.

Here’s a few things to note:

  1. The quality of Elizabeth Missunderstood Jefferies’ photos is right up there with Leonard’s.
  2. I don’t think that “Missunderstood” is her real middle name, but it is Danville. That means there’s a 8% chance that it really is her middle name.
  3. I’m mesmerized by the Danville Police Department’s new purple lights on their cars. Wait, what?

Let’s do a quick factchecking of what was “reported”

First, Leonard reports that one suspect ran. Judges?

There were three suspects.

Second, Leonard reports that the “POPO” is searching in the dark. Judges?

All three suspects were captured and arrested.

Finally, Leonard tries to make a joke about the competence of the Danville Police Department. Judges?

They did their job perfectly within 15 minutes.

If you’re going to do real reporting on stories like this, all you have to do is contact the Danville Police Department. They will give you the facts.

Of course, it’s a lot easier to just regurgitate what a “Missunderstood” person tells you and take a potshot at the police department.
