Ebola? Blame Gay Marriage!

Yeah. He seriously thinks that. Hoo Boy.

I rarely point out “Letters To The Editor” but this one needs a spotlight.

Court can’t change God’s law

(Register & Bee article, paywall may apply unless you break through it)

I’m left to assume that he meant that Ebola is the plague that has been added. Of course,  I haven’t had frogs raining at my house in the last 1000 years or so.

I’ll just let the commenters shred it more.

One moment of hilarity came a few years ago when we had a minor earthquake in Danville. The Pittsylvania County BOS prayer debate was going hot and heavy at that time, and one R&B poster suggested that the earthquake – with a epicenter approximately 150 miles from Danville – was God’s way of telling us that He wanted Christian prayer at BOS meetings. I remember thinking that if the people in, say, Bristol ever do some trifling little thing to piss off God, we (also about 150 miles away) were screwed.

    These people are special.

85% of Liberians identify as Christian. Same sex marriage is not lawful.

73% of Americans identify as Christian. The majority of states permit same sex marriage. The first person diagnosed with ebola in the United States was in Texas, a state that does not permit same sex marriage. The first two ebola infections in the nation were also in Texas.

I cannot believe anybody actually went there.
