This really isn’t a race. James Edmunds will win and win big.
Here’s what we wrote for Update #1…
Recap: Incumbent James Edmunds is running against a challenger that has been invisible.
Notes since last update:
- Edmunds: Does it matter? OK, fine. Edmunds has continued to get out and do the campaign thing.
- Hendricks: He was arrested for DUI.
Thoughts:
- Hendricks goes from invisible to in legal trouble. At least he got some name recognition (and a mugshot).
- Will James Edmunds ever get an opponent that has an actual chance of beating him?
Jasper Hendricks had a zero percent chance in this election, and he’s maintained that same number after his “incident”. SouthsideCentral is moving our rating of “Totally Safe – Edmunds” to “Unbelievably and Ridiculously Safe – Edmunds” because the outcome couldn’t be more predictable.
Normally, I’d tell you to stay tuned for more updates in this race. That’s not gonna happen in this one. All that’s left is the SouthsideCentral endorsement that will be coming soon.
