AT&T forces StarTek’s hand, but is it “doing the right thing”?
Henry County call center employees laid off (?) for having previous criminal record
(Laid off, my ass. But that’s a different story…)
I know that StarTek didn’t have a choice in firing all of these people, but some of the misdemeanor convictions were for things as relatively minor as driving on a suspended license.
That’s just what Martinsville needs, 70 more unemployed people. Sad.

It’s crazy how many people Startek is laying off. It’s not just here but all over the place. Then at the same time tout how they are “creating jobs” in other locations. For more news on all these layoffs check out http://www.antistartek.org/.
