It’s a sad day for the Piedmont Triad and Southside VA as one of the best weathermen and all-around guy passes away at the age of 84. Five of the six candidates for the 5th District Republican nomination met in Charlottesville last night. So what happened, who won and who lost? The Sierra Club’s “Clean Energy Jobs Campaign” is going to have a meeting at Danville’s Public Library on Thursday night from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. SouthsideCentral plans to be there LIVE! and we’ll have photos from the event. Although I predicted this would happen in this SC article, I asked Ruby Archie to make SouthsideCentral a liar by running for re-election. Of course, I was kidding… but I hope Ruby Archie has a terrific retirement. |
