(6\/13\/2014)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Friday morning! Weekend&#8217;s almost here! Lots of exclamation points! RandomThoughts!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Big Board!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>90% of the people I&#8217;ve talked to never went to the AAF Tank Museum. Did they even attempt to market to locals?<\/li>\n<li>For the first time in 15 years, I&#8217;m not going to the Virginia Cantaloupe Festival.<\/li>\n<li>The Town of Halifax is moving one police officer from part-time to full-time in the new budget year, and now they&#8217;re proposing raising their parking ticket fine from $10 to $25. I can figure that one out quickly.<\/li>\n<li>Does anybody walk on the south part of Danville&#8217;s Riverwalk Trail? It&#8217;s got the little bridge and concrete part where you can walk out over the river, and it&#8217;s a beautiful place to just relax there.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ve got a good (and bad) feeling that South Boston&#8217;s Common Grounds coffee shop isn&#8217;t going to re-open.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to know why your Facebook friends number goes up or down, go to <a href=\"http:\/\/who.deleted.me\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/who.deleted.me<\/a> and register with them. There&#8217;s no privacy concerns at the site, they just take a snapshot of who&#8217;s on your friends list and compare the next day&#8217;s version to it. It&#8217;s sort of like fun people-watching.<\/li>\n<li>Yes. Reidsville still has the Christmas Tree where the confederate monument used to be. Merry Christmas.<\/li>\n<li>The 19th annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.charlie-poole.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Charlie Poole Festival<\/a> takes place in Eden tonight &amp; tomorrow. It&#8217;s another amazing local music event with very reasonable ticket prices.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, you know I&#8217;ve got to think about food. I&#8217;m looking forward to tonight&#8217;s Reidsville Cruise-In and not just to see the cars and my old friends. Yep, Cafe 99 for supper!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That&#8217;s your RandomThoughts for now.
