Danville Police responded to a call of a home invasion on Old Halifax Road. At approximately 5:07 pm Danville Police responded to a report of a Home Invasion on Old Halifax Road. Two Danville residents reported two black males with slick bald heads, wearing masks covering the lower portions of their faces, forced their way into the front door of their residence. One was tall and slim. The other was approximately 5\u20197\u201d and also of slim build. There was at least one handgun displayed. Both victim\u2019s sustained head injuries along with other injuries and were transported to the Danville Regional Hospital for treatment. The police investigation is ongoing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
This is about 250 feet from my front door. Speaking of my front door, that’s what the police knocked on around 7PM asking if I had heard or seen anything. I had laid down for a nap around 5PM and apparently slept through all the excitement. It’s just lovely to have a knock on your front door from the police.<\/p>\n
