I feel sorry for defense attorney Elmer Woodard. He seems to get defendants that make headlines for non-good reasons… like the woman in Halifax County that got her teenage son to shoot her husband in the head while he was sleeping and then made a family event out of dumping the body down a well.\u00a0 That would be enough to make anybody dress in a colonial costume and yell at nobody in particular.<\/p>\n
As for this case, wow. Elmer’s swinging for the fences with this defense strategy. I’m just saying that this one is a longshot and I’m smelling horsecrap on this ridiculous “medical condition”.<\/p>\n
