#2 : How to get $2.1 million dollars and never have to pay it back: Threaten to close a school, ask for a “loan” to stop the closure, then inflate your budget for the next 4 years.\u00a0 Cut those inflated expenses that you knew were ridiculous in the first place and call those cuts “reductions to pay the loan off”. You win. The taxpayers lose, but you win. <\/p>\n
#3 : Heard on the street from multiple reliable sources: America’s Best Optical to locate in Coleman Marketplace. <\/p>\n
#4 : Best steak restaurant in the region? Yanceyville’s “Steaks On The Square”. Now Danville gets their second location and it will be worth the wait. <\/p>\n
#5 : it’s refreshing to see state elected officials who visit Southside regularly. That’s in direct contrast with Jim Webb, who doesn’t even seem to know where Danville is. Last time he was here for a business opening, he looked like he was ready to leave three minutes later. <\/p>\n
