The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is currently at the “Short Stop” convenience store in Scottsburg working a double shooting incident. At last report, a man and woman have been shot outside of the store.<\/p>\n

Update #2<\/strong>: A female victim has been killed in this shooting incident.<\/p>\n Update #3<\/strong>: Two people are dead in this incident. Our sources have confirmed that this was a murder\/suicide involving a man and a woman.<\/p>\n Update #4<\/strong>: Law enforcement authorities are not releasing the names of the persons involved.
