On Monday, January 25, 2010, Jerry Wayne Johnson of 1312 Carolina Ave., Eden, N.C., was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault. According to the warrants, Johnson unlawfully and willfully did assault Jessica Nicole Stegall by shoving her down onto the floor and throwing a beer bottle at her. The second warrant alleges, Johnson unlawfully and willfully did assault and strike Katina Hopkins by choking her. Johnson was confined in the Rockingham County Jail with no bond allowed and he is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 8, 2010.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Although we have zero tolerance for any kind of physical abuse, this still qualifies as a Dumbass of the Day. But wait, there’s more! How about another one from Eden?<\/p>\n
On Monday, January 25, 2010, Jessica Stegall of 518 Gresham Street, Eden, N.C., was arrested on a warrant service that charged her with Assault. According to the warrant, Stegall unlawfully and willfully did assault and strike Jerry Johnson by throwing a beer bottle at him which struck him in the mouth. Stegall was released on a $1,500 unsecured bond and she is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 8, 2010.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
