{"id":6040,"date":"2009-12-27T15:22:59","date_gmt":"2009-12-27T20:22:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.southsidecentral.com\/wordpress\/?p=6040"},"modified":"2009-12-27T15:22:59","modified_gmt":"2009-12-27T20:22:59","slug":"dan-river-church-ready-to-move-to-their-new-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.southsidecentral.com\/wordpress\/2009\/12\/27\/dan-river-church-ready-to-move-to-their-new-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Dan River Church ready to move to their new home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s time to say Happy Trails! to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.southsidecentral.com\/wordpress\/2009\/09\/23\/the-new-dan-river-church-is-putting-the-money-out\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dan River Church meeting in the GWHS auditorium<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re moving to the Danville Plaza in the old Value City location with the first church service on Sunday, January 3rd at 10AM. It seems like the perfect place for a church that&#8217;s trying to become a mega-church. Even though <a href=\"http:\/\/www.southsidecentral.com\/wordpress\/2009\/12\/03\/danvilles-harris-teeter-not-closing\/\" target=\"_blank\">Harris Teeter&#8217;s corporate office says that the Danville store is not closing<\/a>, it&#8217;s hard to believe that store will continue after their lease expires in Spring 2010.<\/p>\n<p>If Harris Teeter shuts down, that means that Dan River Church would be able to rent (buy?) the entire shopping center and turn it into the biggest church building that the Thomas Road Baptist Church would have.
