Charles Poindexter is running for his first re-election and we believe he’s a worthy candidate.<\/p>\n

In his first term as a Delegate, Poindexter has a typical run. He had a few bills passed including the “drug court” authorization for Franklin County. Otherwise, he did a good job of learning the ropes. Poindexter survived a close open-seat election but his main competitor did not return after losing twice. Poindexter does have token opposition in Sherman Witcher, a candidate from the Independent Green party, but he’s shown us no real reason to even consider not recommending Poindexter. We feel that Charles Poindexter will continue to grow as a second-term Delegate.<\/p>\n
