Lynwood Barbour is running in his first general election after winning the unexpired term of the previous City Treasurer in a special election. Barbour has done a very good job in making everybody forget about the antics of the previous officeholder, and that’s no small feat considering she pleaded guilty to 28 charges including embezzlement.
\nThe Treasurer’s office is running as smooth as it ever has and we believe that’s the best reason to give Lyn Barbour the courtesy of a vote in the November 3rd election.<\/p>\n
