One of the few original stores in Piedmont Mall will be going out of business after the holiday season. B. Dalton is now a part of Barnes & Noble, but B&N isn’t interested in keeping a relatively small store open in a mall. They’re looking for big-box types of superstores… that being said, the ex-Office Depot space is available across the road, and I’ve heard that there are a few retail spaces still vacant over in Coleman Marketplace.<\/p>\n
