Danville City Council’s got a regular meeting and a work session coming up on Tuesday (7:00 PM) and SouthsideCentral will be there with a LIVE! session. Let’s take a look at what’s on tap…<\/p>\n

In the regular session, they’ll be locking in a $283K+ grant for the Westmoreland project. New business will be confirmation of a grant application for mass transit funding, getting a $50K+ grant for the Victim Witness Assistance Program and approving the report of delinquent taxes. <\/p>\n

In the work session, Council will discuss the naming of the new parking lot that’s between the Dan River and Bridge Street. They’ll also discuss appointments to the Danville-Pittsylvania Regional Industrial Facility Authority, the Danville Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board of Commissioners and the Industrial Development Authority.<\/p>\n
