On August 11th, Detective Steve Perkins obtained a warrant for James Michael Younger. The warrant was for the offense Indecent Liberties with Child and was served on that same date. A bond of $1,000,000 secured was set and Younger was incarcerated in the Rockingham County Detention Facility. <\/p>\n
On August 12th, Younger attempted to take his own life by hanging. Detention personnel became aware of his attempt, and immediately removed him from further injury. He was given immediate assistance and was transported by emergency medical services to a hospital. As Sheriff\u2019s detectives began their investigation of the incident, Younger was being treated for injuries sustained in the incident. <\/p>\n
On August 14th shortly before 6 p.m. James Michael Younger, 52, of 491 Matrimony Road in Eden, died from the injuries he inflicted on himself in the hanging attempt.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
