Breakdown & Random Thoughts<\/em> – Stapleton is very disliked by the general public, so incumbents have a hard time this cycle. Reynolds is the only incumbent so will this race be seen as a referendum on Stapleton? Both candidates are qualified for the office so that’s a non-issue. Just like the previous school board elections, as of now the advantage belongs to the challenger (see Bailey, Rister, Ratliff, Furches).
