Wednesday, July 8th, the South Boston Planning Commission will start the process of adding a new ordinance to the Town code that will permit firing ranges under controlled environments. If everything goes as planned, they’ll have a public hearing on August 12. <\/p>\n

To make this plan go through, they will have to add or amend the following code sections.
\n1) Sec. 70-73. Discharging firearms.
\n2) Sec. 62-35 Standards for Rifle, Skeet or Trap Ranges
\n3) \u00a7 15.2-1113. Dangerous, etc., business or employment; transportation of offensive substances; explosive or inflammable substances; fireworks. <\/p>\n
