I had a nice visit Monday at the future home of Checkered Pig BBQ (the former Backyard Burgers location) and got a sneak-peek at their menu while I was waiting to talk to the owner. I’ll keep it a trade secret right now, but I promise that you’ll like what they’ve got planned to serve. The owner is very friendly and I’ve got no doubt that they’re going to do great. The fact that it’s in walking distance from work has not biased my opinion (much). \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
They’ve got great plans in progress for the restaurant and are about ready to open. SouthsideCentral will be there for their special Premiere Night and we’ll be covering the event LIVE!<\/p>\n
