“The National Weather Service will be in Danville on Thursday June 25th, 2009 at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research at 6:30 PM, to conduct a free storm spotting and weather safety presentation. This two hour presentation is open to the public and any one of any age is welcome to attend. This entertaining and informative presentation will discuss how you can \u2018read the sky\u2019 to determine what type of severe weather is approaching. In Addition, important weather safety
\ninformation will be provided to help protect you and your family from the hazards of severe weather. If you\u2019ve ever wanted to be an official storm spotter, or are just interested in weather, we encourage you to attend.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\nI can promise that you’ll learn a lot from this class and remember, it’s free to attend.
