Pursuant to \u00a7 2.2-3707 – Section F of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act which states “At least one copy of all agenda packets and, unless exempt, all materials furnished to members of a public body for a meeting shall be made available for public inspection at the same time such documents are furnished to the members of the public body.”, I am requesting that the School Board Policy that you have referenced be immediately changed to reflect compliance with this section of the law.<\/p>\n
To clarify, any attachments that are not declared exempt should be made available to the public at the time that the agenda and meeting packets are made available to the board members.<\/p>\n
Please reply to this email with your decision and the School Board’s decision to exercise compliance with the referenced part of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
