Overnight, a Rockingham County Deputy shot and killed a person during a traffic stop. The department issues the standard media release around 5 AM…<\/p>\n

On Sunday, May 29th, 2016 at approximately 1:50 am Deputies with the Rockingham County Sheriff\u2019s Office were involved in a shooting incident during a traffic stop. The investigation has been turned over to the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That’s a basic non-informative press release that glosses over the fact that a deputy shot and killed somebody, but I digress.<\/p>\n

Anyway, so somebody at the Greensboro News & Record has to write an article about this story. This is the resulting article…<\/p>\n
