After answering some Ask SouthsideCentral questions, let’s leap back to Danville’s Ballou Park. We’re continuing our PhotoCentral series from last weekend’s Festival in the Park. In the last article<\/a>, we were making our way through the food section. We’ll continue that and start down the main street of the festival. Let’s get going!<\/p>\n

L.C. Moore & Lee Eagle are making sure everything is running smoothly.<\/p><\/div>\n

Anna Pickeral is quite happy, while Lee Eagle looks all serious. He’s not fooling us one bit.<\/p><\/div>\n

I’ve never been inside the reservoir area. I’m going to get a tour of that one day.<\/p><\/div>\n

Island Smoothies. We’re not sure from what island, though. And for $10, you can have them served in a hollowed-out pineapple. Under the sea… No, I’ll stop before we all start singing.<\/p><\/div>\n

These crabcakes looked and smelled great. I got a small sample and it was very delicious.<\/p><\/div>\n

This booth was “cash only” which lost them a lot of sales to the other booths that took card payments.<\/p><\/div>\n

You could smell the fresh oranges from far away.<\/p><\/div>\n

That’s about as basic of a menu that you’ll find.<\/p><\/div>\n

The food area extended on the path to the main stage.<\/p><\/div>\n
