The SouthsideCentral brand isn’t just this website. It’s also our SouthsideCentral Facebook page<\/a>, our Twitter account<\/a> and our Instagram account<\/a>. We also dabble with Tumblr<\/a> & Flickr<\/a> at times, and you can always find me on my own personal Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This website is designed more for long-form articles and photo articles, so I strongly encourage you to follow as many SouthsideCentral branded social media feeds as you can handle. If you follow us, we’ll follow you. When we get breaking news or fast-paced happenings in the region, you’ll find those items on our other feeds immediately.<\/p>\n

That’s why I’ve created the “SouthsideRoundup” category. This is where you’ll find a recap of some of the other content that we’ve published. It’s meant to be a quick recap of what’s been happening elsewhere in SouthsideCentral land. Let’s get to our first Roundup!<\/p>\n

Did you know there’s a strike going on in Danville now? Verizon union members are currently walking the picket line outside of Verizon’s River St. offices.<\/p><\/div>\n

The Smith Seeds building in Danville’s River District has been turned into ground floor office space with loft apartments on the higher floors. The apartment entrance is located on the side of the building and a lot of people have never seen it.<\/p><\/div>\n

SouthsideCentral hearts Barbara Seamster & Robert Brooks! They’re two of Danville’s best ambassadors and you’ll often find them at events around the city.<\/p><\/div>\n

Nobody was able to figure out where this specific floor tile pattern is in Danville. Can you?<\/p><\/div>\n
