Reidsville NC’s 2016 Downtown Cruise-In series starts this Friday (April 8th). The event officially runs from 6 to 9 PM, but the first one of the year usually runs a bit earlier than that due to earlier sunset and cooler temperatures. The downtown merchants will be open, so come early and have dinner at Dav Gerrells’ Cafe 99<\/a>. (Hint: There’s a Cafe 99 food photo at the end of the article.)<\/p>\n

WGSR got a nice label wrapping on their van. Nobody wanted to see Charles Roark ride around in a plain white van. Heh.<\/p><\/div>\n

The cars don’t have to be flashy to be classic.<\/p><\/div>\n

But the bright colors do stand out.<\/p><\/div>\n

And here’s my favorite part of the Cruise-Ins. Cafe 99’s chicken salad croissant. Dav Gerrells keeps his restaurant open on Cruise-In Friday nights and it’s worth the drive just to get this meal.<\/p><\/div>\n
