It&#8217;s QuickHits time!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Here comes the ol&#8217; trusty Big Board.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chathamstartribune.com\/news\/article_fe6ecd26-e603-11e5-a4fc-3750e876ec42.html\" target=\"_blank\">The amazing Susan Light &amp; the Chatham Star-Tribune breaks the story about an attempted murder in Pittsylvania County.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefranklinnewspost.com\/news\/charges-upgraded-against-caretaker-accused-of-killing--year-old\/article_74371156-e6e7-11e5-a017-c7c7e87adea0.html\" target=\"_blank\">The second-degree murder charge against a Franklin County woman accused of killing a 3-year-old boy has now been upgraded to first-degree murder.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.roanoke.com\/news\/columns_and_blogs\/columns\/dan_casey\/leaf-in-not-pot-lawsuit-actually-is-marijuana\/article_d10cf4ed-ffaf-5bf6-a37f-e920fe917e7f.html\" target=\"_blank\">The 11-year-old Roanoke County boy who got suspended and charged for bringing a leaf to school that looked like marijuana but wasn&#8217;t marijuana? It turns out that it actually was marijuana.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefranklinnewspost.com\/news\/wirtz-man-guilty-of-rape-malicious-wounding\/article_6eb84428-e22a-11e5-80f6-83b750bc1103.html\" target=\"_blank\">The man who restrained 11 and 12 year-old girls while they were being forcibly tattooed then sexually assaulted them is convicted in a Campbell County court. <\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thetimesnews.com\/news\/20160311\/williams-high-school-teacher-charged-with-indecent-liberties-sexual-activity-with-student\" target=\"_blank\">A Burlington NC teacher (well, former teacher now) is charged with having a sexual relationship with a student.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.martinsvillebulletin.com\/news\/patrick-school-board-vice-chair-charged-with-dwi\/article_af99756a-e8cf-11e5-9e03-3b55f8713376.html\" target=\"_blank\">The vice-chair of the Patrick County School Board picks up a DUI charge.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefranklinnewspost.com\/news\/with-love-s-letters-lost-westlake-ceremony-postponed\/article_c4d3d5be-e54c-11e5-af8a-33f1b626891f.html\" target=\"_blank\">Somebody has stolen the love letters.
