SouthsideCentral is glad to publish his campaign&#8217;s statement unedited so that our readers can see it in its entirety.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Again, this is from Philip Haley&#8217;s campaign.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<div>Danville native, Philip A. Haley, is pleased to announce his candidacy for Danville City Council. \u00a0Haley, a 1973 graduate of George Washington High School and 1977 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, recently returned to Danville after a 37 year financial services career in Richmond and Roanoke, VA and, most recently, Chicago, IL.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Haley is the President and CEO of the United Way of Danville-Pittsylvania County, is a member of the Riverview Rotary Club and attends Sacred Heart Church. He and his wife, Pat (Shelhorse) Haley, also a Danville native, have three adult children.<\/div>\n<div>Haley says, &#8220;I am a firm believer in Danville and the invaluable work that is already being done by current stakeholders to move our city in the right direction.
