We gave you a comprehensive recap of what happened at Wednesday’s bankruptcy auction in an earlier article. We had the most photos of any media source, but some of our photos just didn’t make the final cut for the article. The auction company had two extra employees there to handle any phone bidders. Nobody registered to bid by phone so they were able to just stand by. Register & Bee reporter Denice Thibodeau and Robert Brooks are keeping track on what’s going on in the building.<\/p><\/div>\n

Eventual high bidder William Gentry knows how to play it cool as he just looks out the window before the start of the auction.<\/p><\/div>\n

Micah Torrence, our auctioneer, asks for the first bid. There’s no electricity to the building so the makeshift portable propane heater helped warm the building up.<\/p><\/div>\n

As the auction is in progress, auction company employees work the bidders trying to get them to up the current bid.<\/p><\/div>\n
