Here’s the wide-angle view of the only entrance that’s unlocked at Pennrose Mall on Sunday.<\/p><\/div>\n

Let’s walk around the perimeter of the mall towards Scales Street. Here, we find what looks to be a freshly cut tree that’s mysteriously hollowed out. Or somebody just ran over it.<\/p><\/div>\n

The former First Citizens Bank is now the Jackson Hewitt tax preparation office. Drive-thru service is not available because the employees park in those lanes. Actually, they never had drive-thru service (but that’s not funny to talk about).<\/p><\/div>\n

Looky here. A new mall directory sign! Um… what about Belk? Maybe they’re waiting for the Belk logo panel to arrive? However, the leasing phone number is there, so call today before the mall is leased 100%! Hurry!<\/p><\/div>\n

Roses is doing a booming business today. You can see somebody returning their shopping cart to the store. But there’s a very loud electrical buzzing sound coming from somewhere…<\/p><\/div>\n

And it’s coming from this light pole. I could hear the buzzing from a light ballast at least 100 feet away. Something is gonna go KABOOM! sooner or later here.<\/p><\/div>\n

Everybody goes to Roses after church! Or they’re just looking at Bob Adams’ Florist’s delivery vans. No matter what, we give style points for the high heels and fancy hat.<\/p><\/div>\n

Somebody wanted you to know that Cato is no longer at the mall. They ran low on white paint once they got to the “O”, but the message is clear.<\/p><\/div>\n

That explains it! Roses is having a clearance sale. Technically, Roses is nothing but a clearance sale. What the hell? A rain bucket at the corner of the “landscaping”? I knew that the leaks were bad inside the mall, but come on…<\/p><\/div>\n
