Let&#8217;s hop in the SouthsideCentral Time Machine and fill in the blanks.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s start with the murder that happened on Thursday, November 5th in Danville. Here&#8217;s the official statement from the Danville Police Department&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>At approximately 11:31 am two women arrived by personal vehicle at Danville Regional Medical Center&#8217;s Emergency Department suffering from apparent stab wounds. One of the victims, a 24-year-old Danville resident, was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released. The second victim, an 18-year-old Danville resident, was listed in critical condition and subsequently transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for further treatment. She succumbed to her injuries while she was in surgery and was pronounced deceased at 4:31 pm. She is identified as Octrival Latisha Townes, age 18, of Danville.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation revealed that an altercation took place in the 200 block of West James St. before escalating to the knife attack.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of this incident, Aisha Lili O&#8217;Kalani Saunders, age 18, of Danville was charged with one count of malicious wounding and one count of aggravated malicious wounding. She was served with the warrants prior to the victim passing away. She is currently being held in the Danville City Jail under no bond.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i.imgur.com\/beKDczq.jpg?resize=480%2C600\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"600\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Aisha Saunders<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Now let&#8217;s hop in the SouthsideCentral Time Machine and head back to May 12, 2010. Here&#8217;s the official statement from the Danville Police Department from that night&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>On May 12, 2010 at approximately 7:12pm, police responded to 316 Rhodenizer Street in reference to someone that had been shot. Algie D. Saunders II, age 52, of the Rhodenizer Street address, was transported by the Danville Life Saving Crew from the residence to the Danville Regional Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound to the head. Mr. Saunders was airlifted to Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. At this time, 24 year old Algie D. Saunders III, 316 Rhodenizer Street, has been charged with discharging a firearm in an occupied dwelling (S.C. 18.2-279) and is being held in the Danville City Jail.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Recognize the last names? Yep. Aisha Saunders is Algie D. Saunders III&#8217;s half-sister. Aisha&#8217;s half-brother shot her father in the head that night and is doing a 32-year prison sentence for the murder.<\/p>\n<p>Two murders\/murderers have a family connection and it&#8217;s a sad situation all around.
