SouthsideCentral goes to as many events as possible in the region and we could easily start another website with just PhotoCentral articles… but I like to throw them in here when I can to make sure there’s plenty of content that you readers want to see.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, September 19th, the town of Yanceyville NC held the annual Bright Leaf Hoedown. That was one of our multiple stops during the day so we’re going to start a new PhotoCentral series on scenes from the event. We’ve got tons of photos, and that means lots of PhotoCentral articles in the coming days (weeks? months? years? Heh.)<\/p>\n

Let’s get started with our first article in the series.<\/p>\n

The Anderson Volunteer Fire Department is holding their annual car show in conjunction with the Hoedown.<\/p><\/div>\n

Now that’s a lot of trophies!<\/p><\/div>\n

Caswell County’s Confederate monument is in the middle of Court Square.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"

All car show participants were entered into drawings for door prizes… and they had plenty of them to win.<\/p><\/div>\n

The beautiful Caswell County Courthouse makes a perfect backdrop for the beautiful cars.<\/p><\/div>\n

The old Yanceyville fire truck sits in front of the Caswell County Historical Museum<\/p><\/div>\n

The Caswell County Historical Society has their booth set up. We’ll be going inside the museum in articles yet to come.<\/p><\/div>\n

Lots of churches had participatory activities for children at the Hoedown.<\/p><\/div>\n
