Here’s one of those types of article that I love to do.<\/p>\n

A military veteran gets recognized and honored for her service, and Danville gets a new family moving in.<\/p>\n

Here’s the story that happened today…<\/p>\n

CPL Makea Barton served in the U.S. Army and received the National Defense Medal, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon. She and her family are about to receive a mortgage free home. Bank of America has partnered with USA Home Ownership Foundation to donate the 100% mortgage free home to this deserving military service member and her family.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Patriot Guard Riders & the American Legion Riders were pleased to give Corporal Barton an honorary escort to her new home.<\/p>\n

SouthsideCentral was proud to be at the organizing point, and we’ve got photos to show you.<\/p>\n
