You didn’t know anything about that? That’s because Congressman Hurt and his crack staff are getting a Thumbs DOWN!<\/span><\/strong> for not helping out my small business on his small business tour. I had no idea he was making an appearance three miles from my house because his media advance team dropped the ball. That’s why you people didn’t get coverage of it.<\/li>\n

- Even though it’s cheesy to give a Thumb! to a calendar, Thumbs UP!<\/strong><\/span> to this coming weekend. If you say that there’s nothing to do in the Southside region this weekend, you’re an idiot. We’ve got Danville’s Festival in the Park (click here for the event schedule<\/a>), the Danville Museum’s Sutherlin Art & Wine Show<\/a>, and Round #3 of the MotoAmerica AMA\/FIM North American Road Racing Championship out at VIR (click here for a list of all of the off-track events<\/a>).<\/li>\n
- Thumbs UP!<\/strong><\/span> to Angela Fowler. Holy crap, can she sing! She was the entertainment for Tuesday night’s Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards dinner<\/a> and she was awesome. It was my first time hearing her sing and it won’t be the last. Of course, an obligatory Thumbs UP!<\/strong><\/span> to the chamber as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
