<\/p>\nTuesday was Student Day at the 3rd Annual STEM-H Summit held at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research. Let’s take a look at some photos of the day’s activities.<\/p>\n

Over 170 high school students from Danville, Pittsylvania County, Halifax County, Martinsville, Henry County, Patrick County and Franklin County attended. They learned about career choices in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and health fields. They also enjoyed the breakout sessions where they got hands-on demonstrations. Wednesday is Educators and Community\/Industry leader day, and we’ll have coverage of that, too.<\/p>\n
